2026 Board Meeting Dates
All regular Board meetings will continue to be held virtually. Members are always welcome to attend and will be sent links via email allowing them to do so. The next 2026 meeting will be held on October 14 (Annual Meeting) at 6:00 PM. Meeting dates are subject to change. Homeowners will be notified should changes be necessary. The final 2026 meeting will be November 11.

Electronic Documents/Ballots for Annual Meeting
Homeowners will receive an email in early October with a custom link to submit your Docusign proxy ballot before the annual meeting. Please be sure to vote so we can meet our quorum requirements.Upcoming HOA Board Member Elections
At this year’s Annual Meeting to be held on October 14, 2026, members will elect two directors. A Nominating Committee has been formed, and it will nominate candidates for presentation to the Membership.Before the Annual Meeting, Courtyard will send the nominee list and biographical sketches to the Membership along with a proxy form and instructions for voting. If you would like to learn more about volunteering to serve on the Courtyard Board, please contact a member of the Nominating Committee: Carolyn Nolen, Chair; David Diggs, Teri Smith (note that this is a change from the email sent previously announcing the Nominating Committee)
Replacing Your Roof? Read This First!
Roof replacement in Courtyard homes is classified as an exterior modification and requires adherence to the CARB application process. Please submit a CARB application before entering into any agreements with roofing contractors. Currently, only GAF Timberline Weathered Wood shingles are approved to meet Community-Wide Standards. Note that only GAF-certified contractors can provide the full manufacturer warranties.

Courtyard Community Manager
Doug Brooks of RPI is our Courtyard HOA’s Community Manager. All complaints, whether they involve maintenance, landscaping, CARB requests or governing documents, must be lodged with Doug Brooks and not a volunteer. Directors and committee members can field questions from members, but all complaints go to Doug at courtyardatredfields@gmail.com. Do not expect a same day or next day response. Your response will be addressed within a week, as RPI is in the neighborhood at least three times per week to check things out.

About the Bulletin Board
This Bulletin Board will be used to post subjects of general interest to you as Members, including some suggested by you. Some subjects under consideration include certain categories of “Classified Ads” such as lost and found or pet sitting services as well as a potential listing of contractors or tradesmen used and recommended by you. Another interesting possibility is the posting of “restaurant reviews” with a “star” or similar rating system and an indication of ambiance and “noise levels”. The categories on this page will include “Alerts,” which will be a source for critical information, a brief summary of which will always appear on the Home Page. The category “News” will include items of general interest to Courtyard residents. The “Calendar,” also found on the Home Page, will include upcoming events of interest to Members.
